Georgetown Voted. Erin Bailey Law Earns Five Honors in the 2026 Readers' Choice Awards.

Georgetown named Erin Bailey Law its best in criminal defense and DUI for 2026, with four gold awards and one bronze in the annual community-voted Readers' Choice Awards.

Georgetown, SC — September 23, 2026: 

The votes came from neighbors. In the 2026 Georgetown Times Readers' Choice Awards, Erin Bailey Law earned five honors, taking gold in four categories and bronze in a fifth.

The 2026 recognition:

• GOLD — Best Criminal Defense Attorney: Erin Bailey

• GOLD — DUI Attorney: Erin Bailey

• GOLD — Best DUI Law Firm

• GOLD — Best Criminal Defense Law Firm

• BRONZE — Best Overall Law Firm

Two of those awards name Erin Bailey herself. Georgetown voters chose her as the county's best criminal defense attorney and best DUI attorney for 2026.

"These awards are voted on by the people of Georgetown, and that's what makes them mean so much to me. This community has trusted us with the hardest moments of their lives for ten years. There is no higher honor in this work," said Erin Bailey.

The Readers' Choice Awards carry a particular kind of weight because of how they work. Winners aren't selected by a panel or purchased through a sponsorship. They're nominated by Georgetown residents, then voted on by Georgetown residents, with tens of thousands of ballots cast across more than 200 categories covering the county's businesses, restaurants, and professionals.

The honors also arrive in a milestone year. Erin Bailey Law opened its doors in Georgetown in 2016, and the 2026 awards land as the firm marks ten years of practice. A decade of showing up for people, answered by a community vote.

"The truth is these awards belong to our clients. Every one of them extended trust to us on one of the worst days of their life, and that trust is the whole reason this firm exists. We'll spend the next ten years earning it again," Bailey adds.

This marks the third consecutive year Georgetown's Readers' Choice voters have recognized the firm, following Erin Bailey's 2024 selection as Best Individual Lawyer and the firm's 2025 honors. The community recognition joins Erin Bailey's inclusion in the 2026 Super Lawyers list and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
